Meet Our Doctors

Our clinic is owned and operated by a husband-and-wife team, Dr. Christopher Fagerstrom and Dr. Morgan Iloncaie. Both doctors are passionate about providing natural, holistic healthcare. They met while attending Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC, and have a deep understanding of the daily challenges and health concerns that their patients face. As parents of three sons, they know firsthand the importance of maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle and are dedicated to helping you do the same.

What is the VA Community Care Program?

The VA Community Care Program is an initiative that allows eligible veterans to receive medical services from approved providers outside of a VA facility. As chiropractic care is part of the VA’s standard Medical Benefits Package, this program is a valuable option for veterans in the Beaufort area who need convenient, local treatment. It’s a key part of the VA’s mission to ensure all veterans have access to comprehensive, high-quality healthcare.

Am I Eligible for Chiropractic Care?

To be eligible for chiropractic services through Community Care, you must first be enrolled in or eligible for VA healthcare. A referral from your VA primary care or specialty provider is required. You may be referred to a community provider like us if:

  • The VA facility does not have an on-site chiropractic clinic.
  • You live too far from a VA facility that offers chiropractic care.
  • Wait times for an appointment at a VA facility are too long.
  • It’s determined to be in your best medical interest.

How Do I Get Started?

  1. Talk to Your VA Provider: Schedule an appointment with your VA primary care doctor to discuss your symptoms and request a referral for chiropractic care.
  2. Receive Your Referral: Your VA provider will determine your eligibility and create a referral for you in the VA’s system, helping you schedule your first appointment with an approved community care provider.
  3. Schedule Your Appointment with Us: Once you have your referral, you can call our office directly. We will verify your referral and coordinate your care with the VA to ensure a seamless experience.

We are proud to serve those who have served us and are committed to making this process as smooth as possible.

Conditions We Treat

Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, drug-free approach to managing a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. We can help veterans with:

  • Chronic Back Pain: A common issue for many veterans, often related to service or daily activities.
  • Neck Pain & Headaches: Often stemming from injuries, stress, or poor posture.
  • Sciatica: Nerve pain that radiates from the lower back down the legs.
  • Joint Pain: Discomfort in the shoulders, hips, knees, and other joints.
  • Post-Surgical Rehabilitation: Chiropractic adjustments and therapies can aid in recovery.
  • Spinal Conditions: We treat a range of conditions, from disc injuries to spinal stenosis.

At Chiropractic In Motion, we take a holistic approach to your health. Our goal is to not only treat your symptoms but to identify the root cause of your pain and develop a comprehensive treatment plan that includes chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies, and lifestyle guidance.
