Dr. Christopher Fagerstrom
Dr. Christopher Fagerstrom is a native son, growing up on James Island, SC. He is a USAF Veteran with a background in Aviation Mechanics. After serving, he had the opportunity to broaden his mechanic trade into the maritime world. Now working with his father on the tug boats in Charleston he continued the family tradition of working on the sea. Like his father and grandfather he traveled up and down the East Coast where he discovered Beaufort. Unforeseen, his life was about to change.
At 26, Dr. Chris suffered serious neck injuries and debilitating neck pain following a car accident. After they did not resolve on their own, he sought out chiropractic care for the first time in his life. He was even more surprised when 12-year-old wrist injuries healed after just three months of care. This impacted him so much that he decided to put his mechanic skills to work on something new and became a chiropractor and later graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic. Today Dr. Chris proudly serves Beaufort, as a mechanic of the body. He is seeking out fellow veterans and those who have suffered from motor vehicle accidents to give them hope that they too can heal.
Dr. Morgan
Dr. Morgan attended St.Clair County Community College from 2007-2009 where she played volleyball and Softball. There she began suffering from wrist injuries and sought out chiropractic care. Not only did she notice that her wrist injuries healed but she also had improvement in her allergies. Throughout school she spent her summer and winter breaks working at a long term care facility where she worked with the elderly and disabled. In 2009, she transferred to the University of Olivet where she continued to play volleyball and softball. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree with a Concentration in pre-med. In 2010, she became a member of the Sigma Beta Literacy Society.
In 2012, Dr. Morgan began her career in chiropractic by attending Sherman College of Chiropractic and graduated in May 2015. While in school, she began to suffer from migraine headaches, however this too was resolved with chiropractic, specifically upper cervical care. She also has a passion to help children as well as mothers looking for a more holistic birthing process and lifestyle. Dr. Morgan had an all natural birth without the use of drugs. She birthed her children at home with midwives and doulas. Today she seeks out local professionals in these fields to support her patients and all of those seeking natural alternatives. She has now become a part of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She also enjoys working with athletes since she was once a collegiate athlete and has a passion for senior citizens from her experience in long term care. Dr. Morgan and Dr. Chris have decided to officially build their own practice on Lady’s Island to include all ages and lifestyles.
Drs Chris and Morgan are very busy at home with their 3 boys Thorston 14, Thayne 10 and Theron 8. Aside from running around to different sporting events, the family loves Hunting Island State Park and the beautiful surroundings that Beaufort and the Sea islands have to offer. Dr. Chris and Dr. Morgan are also a part of Dragon Boat Beaufort to support those who have been affected by Cancer.
